In a quaint coastal town, the local theatre company is bustling with excitement as they prepare for their pantomime production of "Cinderella". Directed by the spirited Audrey Disorderly. However, the addition of Barnaby, a quirky pug with a nose for trouble, turns the rehearsal into a whirlwind of drama both on and off stage.

As rehearsals progress, the company is thrown into chaos when the seasoned actress Michele Aubrey rushes onto the stage in a panic, declaring that her heirloom diamond necklace has been stolen from her dressing room. 

Shortly after that alarming incident, Ferdi Fuzzybritches, a charming but forgetful actor, discovers that his wallet containing three hundred pounds has mysteriously vanished. As the week unfolds, reports of stolen credit cards add to the distress, creating a sense of unease among the cast and crew.

During the rehearsals a ghost-like figure pushes Audrey to the ground. A lamp falls from the grid onto the stage, missing Prince Charming by inches. Barnaby and Audrey both realize that the thefts are more than deliberate sabotaging of the production, Audrey, who has a penchant for sleuthing, teams up with Barnaby to investigate the thefts.

Despite the quirky dynamic—Audrey’s passion for theatric flair and Barnaby’s instinctual pursuit of scents—the duo finds themselves tangled in a web of mystery that could jeopardize the whole production. Together they risk everything to find the money, save the show and capture the Villain and solve the Crooked Christmas Caper.
